MarJaNeS uNcLe

While reading the novel I believe that Marjanes uncle had the biggest impact on her life.  Anoosh was very important to Marjane  she seen him more than just her uncle she seen him as being her best friend and someone she could talk to who wouldn't judge her.  She loved all his stories and also believed that he was one of the greatest people alive.  Anoosh adored Marjane as well be believed that she was a smart young girl who had a lot of courage and spunk.  Annosh wanted Marjane to know all his stories so one day she could re-tell them and the family stories would stay alive.  Marjane considered Anoosh her hero because of what he stood up for and what he believed in she though he was very brave Marjane wanted to know every little detail about Anoosh and his life.  Anoosh only was allowed one visit when he was arrested and he asked for Marjane.  Anoosh told Marjane that she was the daughter that he had always wanted to have.  Marjane cried at home and was mad at the world because Anoosh was gone and he was the only one that truly understood her and her ways and her thinking.  Anoosh was executed the following day and was accused of being a spy because Anoosh was sad and upset she didn't want to talk to god or even believe that there was one any more because she felt as if god took her uncle away from her and that he could of changed the out come.

a character that i liked throughout out reading the novel was marjane I liked her throughout out the story because I believe that she was very out spoken and whatever was on her mind she said even though she knew that people wouldn't agree with her.  I also like how she was her own person she acted how she wanted and not how people wanted her to act.  Although I also thought she was a brat at times and was a bit mean I overall liked her character she made the story very interesting and not boring. I also liked how she would challenge her parents a bit and her parents really didn't get to upset in a way it seemed like they were proud of her and the person who she was they loved her unconditionally like parents should.  I also like how marjane displayed her belief in religion even though it wasn't much it did show how she did have some belief in god when she wasn't upset with him.  I believe without marjane in the story it would of been very boring she had a huge impact on the story and brought the story all together.

My MoThEr NeVeR.....

My mother never neglected me and my siblings.  My mother never did drugs.  My mother never made us feel bad about our selves even when we would be up set.  I love my mother to death.  My mother has always been there for me trough everything and anything that I ever needed.  My mother is my best friend I can tell my mom anything and she never judges me she is there for me whenever I need her no matter what time of day it is her love is unconditional.  I know not everyone has a mother or may not be as close to there mom as they would love to be but I do know that no matter where a mother is she always has a place for love in her heart for her child.  I am lucky to have such a great mother who will always love and be here for me.  I love that I can be open with my mother about anything and the relationship that I have with my mother I can only hope that my children will have the same connection with me.

Through out reading the novel Persepolis I believe that MarJane is very out spoken and I believe that her parents are going to get very tired of her and ship her off some where I would if she was by kid because she seems very rude and seems like she doesn't know her limits on what to say and what not to say.  I think she forgets that she is not an adult I believe that she forgets that she is still a child.  MarJane is not a bad kid but I also believe that many people around her are influencing her and are setting the tone for her life.  I don't think that MarJane is her own person because her family and people around her I think have a big influence on her life and are not letting her be her own person but instead want her to be how they are and believe and do what they do.

AbOuT Me

A little about me well.... I have an 8 year old son named Malaki who is in the 3rd grade.  YES I was a young teen mother but would NEVER change it for the world my son has made me a better person all around and I believe everything happens for a reason and my son has pushed me to be the best in everything that I do.  I also believe that our children choose who they want there parents to be and they come into our lives when we least expect it.   I am majoring in justice studies most likely wanting to transfer to San Jose State and continue my schooling.  I am almost done in completing my classes to graduate here at San Jose City with my A.S. I plan on being a Police officer K-9 unit or possibly a corrections officer in a prison.  I have taken the Post entry level test.  I work at Home Depot as Loss Prevention its a pretty fun job dangerous at times but most of the time really fun.  I am also a Nanny I have been working both jobs for a few years now but its not something that I could or want to do forever but for now its great.  What I like to do in my spare time is helping my son with his pitching since he is the pitcher for his little league team.  I also like to go shooting its a good stress reliever :)  I also enjoy horse back riding and hanging out with my son.
